Anti-Bullying Teacher Training

This staff training is specifically designed for teaching staff or anyone working with children and young people.

During the 90-minute session your child will learn:
  • How to identify the different forms of bullying vs misunderstandings, breakdowns in friendships, and the challenging experience of developing social skills.
  • The three main reasons why bullies bully: victimisation, humour and dominance.
  • Practical and assertive methods of dealing with the different forms of bullying without resorting to physical methods or ‘ignoring’ the bully.
  • How to help pupils keep their cool when in stressful situations using mindfulness and simple coping mechanisms designed not to react with emotion.
  • Conflict management de-escalation techniques used by professionals that can be utilised by children and teens for personal safety methods.
  • How to develop pupil’s emotional resilience and how positive ‘self-talk’ & mindfulness can help build positive mental health.
  • How to support the child overcome their need to bully other children.
